Not everyone is aware of it, but part of Delfland, which covers a large part of the Randstad in the province of South Holland, is below sea level. An ingenious system maintains the water level and adjusts it to weather forecasts and local needs. Under the motto 'Ordinary or very special' we launched the 'Delfland up to par' campaign.
Description
For the Delfland Water Board, Change Collectief developed the campaign “Delfland on the right level”, a framework with which the water board can communicate about water level management in the Delfland region.
Part of the campaign was the name and concept development of the brand “Delfland at the right level”. An extensive photo shoot was done for the campaign. The idea of the campaign is that a graphic waterline can give visibility to the theme of life below sea level in various places in Delfland, is this normal or something very special? The campaign expressions have been translated to online and offline, including social media, content for the website, advertorials for door-to-door newspapers, beach flags and posters, among other things, to publicise the Open Mill and Sewerdays (14 and 15 May 2022, and 13 May 2023). The campaign formula can be used and expanded in many different ways.
